The Pod Racer is my East Coast performance fish built for everyday beach break conditions. Fast, responsive, and extremely user friendly, this board is a true daily driver from knee high to head high surf.

Designed to blend classic fish speed with modern small wave performance.

Design and Performance

The Pod Racer combines elements from my traditional Fish and the Fully Auto small wave performance board.

Key design features include:

  • Fuller outline with thinner foil
  • Volume hidden under the chest for easy paddling
  • Mini swallow tail for release and speed
  • Wide point slightly forward of center
  • Low entry rocker with moderate exit rocker
  • Medium rails

There is no beak in this design. The board carries its volume cleanly through the center for smooth acceleration and easy wave catching.

Ride it at or slightly below your height for maximum responsiveness, or size up for extra glide.

Bottom Contours

Deep single concave transitioning into double through the fins and tail.

This contour provides speed off the bottom and control through tighter turns.
