The REDFIVE is my high performance shortboard built for speed, control, and modern surfing. This design has been in constant refinement for years and is tuned to the rider’s specific needs.

Shaped for surfers who want precision and responsiveness when the waves are pumping.

Design and Performance

The REDFIVE features a clean performance outline with a subtle hip at the fins to break the curve and allow tighter, more controlled turns.

Key features include:

  • Noticeable hip at the fins
  • Late flip in the rocker for responsiveness
  • Performance-driven rail line
  • Ride at your standard shortboard height

This board delivers drive down the line while remaining loose and reactive in critical sections.

Bottom Contours

Single concave starting early and running through the center of the board, blending into double concave between the fins and flattening off the tail.

This contour combination generates speed while maintaining control in powerful surf.

Primarily built as a classic Thruster.
