Pescado- The classic fish.
Who doesn't love a good fish?! My version pulls classic elements and a few modern tweaks. I make this board with the typical full outline but prefer to thin the rails to give this fish some bite. The design keeps the classic straight railed wide swallow tail. I make this board primarily as a twin keel setup for glide and speed but can easily convert it into a quad as well. The wide point is placed forward of center and a low entry and exit rocker are the standard. The foil of this fish starts with a beaked nose with volume under chest flowing back into a thinned out swallow for hold. Ride this board below your height and get your glide on. This fish has medium/low-ish rails (but can be adjusted to your personal flavor). Bottom contours are a rolled entry into slight concave moving into spiral vee through the fins and tail. Size ranges from 4’6” all the way up to 6’6”.
